From this they are encouraged to identify five key aspects of the &#8220;Johnson Treatment&#8221; and substantiate each with an extract from the reading.<\/p>\n<p>Lyndon Baines Johnson (1908-73) had been JFKs vice-president, appointed to the position because he was a masterful manager of congress with a remarkable ability to get things done. By turns brash, charming, coarse and cloying, he was a fascinatingly complex, larger-than life figure.
